Pietra Ligure

Pietra Ligure is characterized by alleyways (typical of the Liguria) through the center of the town.
It is one of the most typical town of Liguria and It has been further enhanced with the creation of a large pedestrian island that embraces the heart of the town.
The oldest part of the historical center of Pietra Ligure - that develops around the ancient parish church - offers quiet and suggestive corners. The old town is connected to the promenade "Giovanni Bado", surrounded by palm trees and flower gardens.
During the summer, the promenade is crowded with tourists and residents, attracted by the many shops and the events, such as the fireworks for the feast of "Miracolo di San Nicolò" (8 July) and of "Assunta" (15 August).
